Today's monthly group meeting at Folk Arts in Wakefield, RI played with the wreath maker tool. This tool allows you to take any applique shape and turn it into a wreath. The shape can come from just about anywhere in the program or be imported. Then it can be turned into a wreath with choices of how many, how close together, and then the spacing of the applique. Here's a sample quilt of four blocks, each different. Then I added sashing and an automatic border. One is simply hearts wreathed, another is drawn out brush strokes, then some flower petals, and finally, petal shapes with a pulled out stem. Takes a bit of practice and they all did so well. The variety of what they come up with is the best part ~ they always amaze me!
